Join the Rooted in Alignment Collective
Why do we think that in order to run a business, we have to expect to be drained? What if your business could actually feel nourishing?
What if you could finally feel present and connect to peace in your life—enjoying date nights, playing with your kids, hanging out with friends, and other moments of joy without feeling the pull to do more?
It’s possible to stop the overwork, burnout, and self-sacrifice cycles, and start moving into a place of alignment, ease, and authenticity.
You’re a do-er (especially over do-er) who prioritizes sending that last email even though you’re exhausted because you need to check off your to-do’s or allowing your business to dictate your schedule all in the name of “serving” others.
You feel the pressure to succeed at whatever cost because you were told that you had to make your parent’s sacrifices worth it or you have that fearful thought in your head, “I have to keep showing up or else people will forget about me.”
You feel the pull to perform—to smile and say all the right things during client calls or planning meetings but once they are over, find yourself getting super distracted or crashing into naps.
You’re tired of letting go of boundaries which lead you to do things like continuously tweeking your offers, website, etc, leaving a million voicenotes to clients to make sure they’re “ok,” or constantly thinking about the business even when getting ice cream with your fam, leaving you feeling drained of your energy, time, and gifts.
You’re stuck in cycles of overwork and crashing. You feel like you have to “take advantage” of the high-energy days, so you work a few 10-hour days but then find yourself frozen and just doing the minimum for the following days or even weeks.
You’re a woman who carries the weight of self-sacrifice and martyrdom in your lineage. You saw the women in your family give up dreams, make sure the house was clean no matter how they were feeling, put up with alcoholic partners, and/ or constantly work through exhaustion, and you’re ready to start to break free from that intergenerational pattern.
You feel the weight of colonialism and supremacy culture in your body through ingrained beliefs and actions that prioritize producing, control, and self-doubt and have led to self-abandonment.
You question who you are without the DOing or helping others. “Who am I if I am not serving? Who am I outside my accomplishments? What do I actually desire?”
Join The Rooted in Alignment Collective to experience a different way of experiencing your life and business.
A way that is rooted in fulfillment and your enoughness.
“I love that in RIAC, it centered me as a person, not just my accomplishments. Instead of being asked, “what did you accomplish?” I was asked, “how do you feel?”
- Louise A.
Yuritzy Gomez- Serrano
Yuritzy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Somatic Coach who incorporates trauma-informed somatic approaches, coupled with intergenerational and systemic analysis, to guide entrepreneurs in bridging the connection between their mind and body.
I was someone who felt such a pull to keep accomplishing and it always felt like there was more to do. Once one accomplishment was achieved, it was on to the next. I was a Licensed Therapist, had built a multiple 6-figure business, bought a home, amassed multiple certifications and trainings, and I still felt like I needed to DO more.
Don’t get me wrong, having ambitions or goals is not a “bad” thing, but if there is not a true feeling of enoughness that grounds you, your goals’ primary purpose will be to give you temporary feelings of validation. Ask me how I know.
For me, it showed up as a FOMO pull to work with a mentor/ coach or get a certification, thinking that, “when I work with that person, know that thing, get trained in that, etc. ” my business and I will all be “good.” But, a lot of the time, I would do the thing (work with the mentor, get trained, etc.) and I wouldn’t feel like it was enough. Then, the itch to do more would come back again.
This last year, I committed to center me, my desires, connecting deeper to my emotions, reconnecting to my hobbies/ joy, my connection to the earth and community instead of focusing on what I could get done in my business (which ruled SO much of my thoughts and actions).
It was HARD because the feelings of not enough would still come up. And there was SO much FOMO. But,I also began to feel present which allowed me to fully experience how I was being in my life. This allowed me to tap into a sense of fullfillment, enoughness.
When you begin to center your needs, values, and desires, you begin to align with your truth, your authentic self. You’ll find you actually didn’t need to DO as much to feel accomplished, worthy, and enough.
Your business, relationships, and life will begin to feel like a warm hug—embracing all of you, exactly as you are.
In the collective, our bodies will help serve as powerful guides in this transformative process. Your values, the wisdom of your lineage, and the power of the collective become the anchors in your body’s transformative process, which will help guide you to grow and run your business while centering a deep sense of fulfillment and enoughness.
"Joining RIAC was hands down the best investment I made in 2024. This group helped me to tend to so many parts of myself that I intentionally and unconsciously ignored. I joined this group because I was ready to figure out why I was so afraid to be visible in my new business. For context, I know the hustle - I previously built a business while having a baby and homeschooling my oldest. But I no longer desired to burned out and in deep overwhelm trying to be that "boss babe" and 'perfect mother'."

Bring the disagreements, discomfort, and parts that may feel like you’ve needed to hide behind the achievements.
"My favorite part was Yuritzy's openness to moments of deep truth and need for honoring. I was grateful for her openness to go to those places with me, and the beauty of duality. I am also grateful to Yuritzy for being honest about parts of herself that would impact my experiences and her ability to hold them and be "human" with me."

I enjoyed the variety of the program including the weekly, co-working, release and the individual sessions. It was a good balance to focus both on business and personal experiences and situations."

Reverence to the Rooted in Alignment Collective:
Most of this iteration of Rooted in Alignment Collective is grounded in my personal lived experiences, medicine, and guidance from ancestors and spirit.
There will be elements of my learnings as a mental health therapist and somatic practitioner. Some of them may overlap into my lived experiences, medicine, and guidance, however they will not be the center of this experience. I want to teach and guide based on what I have embodied, not just what I know intellectually. As I am presenting teachings and concepts for this round, I will do my best to reference their origin if they are not rooted in my lived experiences, medicine, and guidance.
Below are some of the people and teachings that helped guide this iteration of RIAC:
My late mother-in-law Lilia’s teachings and guidance, my interactions with my sweet daughter, my gifts and knowing passed on my family’s lineage of healers (curanderas, herbalists, sobadores based in Michiacan, Mexico), Root Healing Experience and Body Work with Angelica Sievers, Somatic Practicioner - Prentiss Hemphill. The Politics of Truama book and Generative Somatics teachings from Staci Haines, The Way of the Dragon and coaching with Simone Grace Soel, Jennifer Mullen from Decolonizing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Inner Relationship Focusing, Polyvagal Theory, Radical Self-love by Sonya Renee Taylor, Coyolxauhqui Imperative by Gloria Anzladua, , Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, Like Water For Chocolate book written by Laura Esquivel and Max TV Series, Cien años de Soledad book written by Gabriel García Márquez and Netflix series, abolitionist teachings from Dr Ayesha Khan, anti-capitalist teachings from Toi Marie, Marianismo concept first shared by Evelyn Stevens.
The retreat helps build community and a sense of safety, creating the best environment to cultivate nervous system shifts and transformation. We will choose a time that will accommodate all the collective members.
You do not have to have a registered business, but the program is best suited for those who have a business or are in the initial stage of creation. Most of the examples and support provided will be through the lens of entrepreneurship.
You do not need to be experienced with Somatics or Nervous System work to join, but it will be highly beneficial if you have had previous experience in therapy or other healing spaces where you have learned to identify and talk about emotions.
It is recommended to engage in the live sessions 1x/ week which is 1.5-2 hours, engage in emotional connection practices and reflections 1-2 hours/ week, and watch or listen to teachings/ visualizations 20-30 min/ week. The ideal would be to spend about 3-5 hours/ week on this work.
However, being as engaged as you can given the season of your life is good enough especially if this offering speaks to you. I highly recommend those who can commit to engage and be part of this community to apply and we can discuss more about the time commitment.
Please be aware that there is a limit for the sliding scale option. You will have the option to apply for the sliding scale option in the application if it is still available. It will be on the application until the spots have been claimed. If you do not see it on the application, it means the sliding scale options have been taken. If the option is available and after the call you decide to join, you will have 48 hours to sign the agreement and Sliding scale is on a first come, first served basis.
If we are UNABLE to offer you sliding scale, you will be offered the option to join the program at the full price which you can pay in full or join the payment plan.
You will receive a calendar link to be able to book your 1:1 sessions. You can book your calls for any time throughout the seven months. I take 1:1 coaching calls Monday- Thursday.
The Collective will be 5-10 members
